Interiors Makeover Process

Step One

ASSESSMENT Makeovers are usually done one room at a time. We first discuss what feeling you want to evoke and what objects you’d like to include in the re-design. Often, this includes unused furnishings and décor that a client likes but doesn’t know how to incorporate.

Step Two

IS ANYTHING MISSING? We see what else is needed to make the space come alive, such as artwork, a piece of furniture, perhaps a new color scheme. (See Color Consultations.)

If anything is missing, we make a plan to acquire it. Similarly, items not intended for the re-design will be designated for the homeowner to remove from the room before the re-design day.

Step Three

THE MAKEOVER When all the pieces are on site and a color scheme has been finalized, Mary Anne and a team member will re-design the room using the client’s preferred furniture, décor and art.

Step Four

FOLLOW-UP After the client lives with the re-design for a week, the designer and client will discuss how the client feels about the re-designed space – does it evoke the feeling the client first envisioned. Refinements, if needed, are made.
